Non-invasive airway pressure release ventilation

Just wondering if anybody has tried non-invasive APRV and what were the outcome. Also, are there any protocols for non-invasive APRV available for comparison?

We do use non-invasive APRV end have great success. We do not have a protocol for it yet.

We have also used APRV NIV in peds patients. The circuit compliance with mask leak can be a tricky issue with reading the release phase, but hasn't been an issue with patients we have extubated from APRV to NIV APRV adapting the same settings.
