Continuing Education

Busy changing schedules often make it difficult for bedside clinicians to obtain the quality continuing education they require. ICON’s versatile education choices help ease this stress by providing high quality continuing education on up-to-date topics. Offerings include self-paced modules and live monthly web-based lectures (webinars).

Both self-directed and live presentations include AARC approved credit hours. These unique offerings also include phone support for follow-up questions—Mon.–Fri., 9:00am–4:00pm Eastern at 443-992-7450.

Learner paced courses with continuing education credit

ICON’s self-directed, learner-paced modules allow you to view narrated presentations at your own pace. Stop when you need to and come back when you can. You’ll be able to pick-up where you left off.

Each presentation includes a test at the end, which must be successfully passed in order to receive continuing education credit.

It is the policy of the Education Unit at Intensive Care On-line Network (ICON) to insure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all its educational activities. All persons (including faculty) involved in the selection, development and presentation of content are required to disclose any financial interests. All persons (including faculty) are required to complete and sign a Conflict of Interest Form at least thirty days prior to initial offering of continuing education activity. This form will be kept on file for a minimum of 5 years. All perceived conflicts of interests will be resolved prior to an educational activity by validating the activity content through independent peer review.

All presentations are presented in a non-biased manner, providing a well-rounded aspect. All persons (including faculty) are also required to disclose any discussion of off label unapproved uses of drugs or devices.
